The UPSC CSE Prelims Examination 2024 clock is running out. Candidates only have one week to make one last attempt after the announcement of the admit cards on June 7. These next few days are really important, regardless of experience level. Here’s a little tutorial to help you get around them easily.
Complete your syllabus in every detail and give revision priority. To determine your strengths and mistakes, review the copies of top performers and write sample answers.
Anxiety before an exam is normal. Take control of it with regular sleep and meditation. Recall that making wise selections throughout the exam requires having a clear head.
To prevent stress at the last minute, arrive at the exam location well in advance. Bring your admit card, an authentic photo ID, a pencil, a black ballpoint pen, and any other items that are listed as allowed on the admit card.
Important Guidelines for UPSC CSE Prelims Exam Day
- Entry closes 30 minutes before the exam starts (9 AM for the morning session and 2 PM for the afternoon session).
- Mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
- Use only a black ballpoint pen to fill the OMR answer sheets.
- Simple wristwatches are allowed, but smartwatches or watches with any communication features are not.
Take the test with confidence. Answer the questions you know the answers to first during the exam. Avoid getting stuck on just one question. Move on and come back to it later if time permits.
