UGC NET December 2024 notification: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the official notification soon on the UGC NET website (https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/). This notification will include important details about the upcoming exam, such as important dates, the application process, eligibility criteria, admit card details, exam pattern, syllabus, exam centers, and marking schemes.
The UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges. In the previous June 2024 exam, over 11 lakh candidates registered, with nearly 7 lakh appearing for the re-exam held in August and September.
New Subject: Ayurveda Biology will be introduced as a new subject for the December 2024 exam onwards. The detailed syllabus is available at https://ugcnetonline.in/.
Registration Dates: The notification will announce the application window, including the start and end dates for registration.
