- Applicable for families with an annual income of up to ₹8 lakh.
- Covers admissions through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) in government, government-aided, and approved private institutes.
- Benefits are transferred directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts through the MahaDBT portal.

Central Government’s Stand on Maharashtra’s free education for girls
