One more major reason for the increase in female enrollment in MBA is awareness about career benefits. Many corporations promote gender diversity in their teams which leads women to take a job without any struggle. Flexible programs offered by Business schools are also one of the key reasons for women to be admitted to MBA.

Recently many women took up top designation in big companies such as Leena Nair founder and CEO of CHANEL, Roshni Nadar Chairperson of HCL, Anjali Sud CEO of Tubi, Jayshree V Ullal CEO of Arista Networks and Veenita Sing Founder of Sugar cosmetics have motivated women to take their career seriously.  These women are role models and they develop an idea in mind of another female that they can also be on the top.

There has been a change in the business landscape in the last few years which supports giving more opportunities to women. It could be one of the reasons for the increase in several women in MBA courses.

What’s the Future Ahead?

Well, the future from here seems beneficial for female candidates as more and more opportunities are waiting for them. Initiatives taken by business schools, scholarships by colleges and government, and equal opportunities in the private sector job market are good signs for women. Also if a female wants to pursue entrepreneurship there are many financial aids and subsidies provided by the government.

Diverse leadership has given the organization drastic results. Which is why they are more interested in hiring a women candidate than ever. Also especially in countries like India where women get fewer opportunities for studies in comparison to males. These all are positive signs. The reason is when people get to know that their daughters, sisters, friends, and women themselves can get top-level jobs, build huge businesses, and live their dreams then there will increase in women’s enrollment in studies.
