IIM Indore MBA Admission 2026 Selection Process
IIM Indore uses a two-step selection procedure. Candidates are first screened by the institute using their prior academic records and CAT scores. Second, it interviews the chosen students one-on-one.
Stage 1: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)
Each applicant is given a Composite Score (CS) by the admissions committee. Class 10 and 12 grades, gender diversity, and CAT 2025 performance all affect this score. The admissions committee ignores graduation marks during the first round of selection.
Stage 2: Final Selection
After the interviews, the institute prepares the final merit list. This list uses the Final Composite Score (FCS).
- Personal Interview (PI): 50% weightage.
- CAT 2025 Score: 25% weightage.
- Class 10 Marks: 12.5% weightage.
- Class 12 Marks: 12.5% weightage.
Important Note: IIM Indore MBA Admission 2026
- IIM Indore provides a 15% weightage to women and transgender candidates during the shortlisting stage. This helps in maintaining a balanced classroom environment.
- The institute prefers students with high scores in Class 10 and Class 12.
- The PI rounds usually take place in cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
