The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a significant change to the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern. Optional questions in Section B are eliminated. Candidates will now be required to answer all five questions in this section for all three papers (B.E./B.Tech, B. Arch, and B. Planning).
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, JEE Main allowed some freedom in section B. Students could pick and answer any five questions from ten. But now, since the World Health Organization said the COVID-19 emergency will end in May 2023, the NTA has decided to go back to the old way of doing the exam.
- Section B will now have only five numerical-based questions per subject.
- You need to answer all five questions in this part.
- The detailed exam pattern will be available in the upcoming JEE Main 2025 Information Bulletin.
- They will announce the dates for signing up for JEE Main 2025 soon.
Aspiring engineers and architects should visit the official JEE Main website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) regularly to stay updated on the latest exam patterns and registration dates.
This update highlights the need for thorough preparation in all areas of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students should adjust their study plans to make sure they can handle all the questions in Section B.
