Chennai, India (October 8, 2024): The IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, working together with SWAYAM Plus, has started a 12-day training course to help engineering students learn the skills they need to succeed in today’s world of digital manufacturing. This course will take place from October 14th to 26th, 2024, and will teach students how to work with 3D modeling, 3D printing, CAM, CNC programming, and CNC machining.

The goal of this course is to help students use their theoretical knowledge in real-life situations by giving them practical experience in digital manufacturing. Students will learn about the whole process of making a product, from creating a prototype to testing it.

Placement Assistance

For top students, the program helps with job placement. The Central Skill Training Facility (CSTF) at IIT Madras will link students with startups and big companies in the mechanical and manufacturing fields.
