The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) now offers undergraduate programs at its brand-new Abu Dhabi campus! Launching in the 2024-25 academic year, IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi will welcome its first batch of students in two exciting fields: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Energy Science and Engineering (ESE).
IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi Admissions Options for UAE and International Students
There are two ways to qualify for admission:
JEE Advanced 2024: Students who have performed well in JEE Advanced can take advantage of their rank to apply through a dedicated portal on the IIT Delhi website (after the declaration of results).
Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET): This new exam designed specifically for UAE residents (including citizens, expatriates, and international students) will be held on June 23, 2024, across multiple UAE centers. Registration for CAET is open till June 10, 2024, at https://admissions.abudhabi.iitd.ac.in/.
Benefits for JEE Advanced Qualifiers
- Simplified Admission Process: Apply through a separate portal on the IIT Delhi website (not JoSAA).
- Reduced Fees: Pay only the fees applicable for your category at the Delhi campus. All other fees are waived.
- Financial Aid: Enjoy a monthly stipend of AED 2,000, subsidized meals, and double-occupancy hostel accommodation (with waived fees).
- Travel Allowance: An annual allowance of AED 4,000 to support travel expenses.
