The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the practical exams dates for Class 10 and 12 students in schools that start their academic year in winter. This is important for about X% of CBSE students who live in places with freezing winters.
Important Dates
- CBSE Practical Exams for Winter-Bound Schools: November 5, 2024 (Tuesday) to December 5, 2024 (Thursday)
- Regular Practical Exams (All Schools): Begins January 1, 2025
Exam Guidelines
- Schools with winter exams need to make a list of students taking the tests.
- Only students on the online List of Candidates (LOC) can join.
- Schools should get help from outside examiners and watchers through the CBSE Regional Office.
- Sending the practical exam stuff on time is very important.

The CBSE is expected to announce the regular board exam dates for Classes 10 and 12 soon. Tentatively, the exams are likely to commence on February 15, 2025.
