The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has officially released the GATE 2026 poster today on the official website — gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal for 2026 has been created and will go live on August 25, 2025. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level exam for admission to MTech, PhD, and research programmes. It also serves as an eligibility criterion for recruitment in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

GATE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates in the third year or higher of any undergraduate programme can apply.
