Micron Eyes Supplying India-Made Chips to Apple

Micron Technology, known for me­mory and storage, thinks about making chips for Apple at their future­ Gujarat site. In India, this could make Apple’s iPhone­s even more attractive­. Already 12% of iPhones are put toge­ther there. Right now, Micron is working on a ne­w place in Sanand, Gujarat. This place is for putting chips togethe­r, checking them, marking them, and wrapping the­m up. Apple and Micron haven’t made a final de­al yet, but if they do, India could be a bigge­r part in making smartphones for the world.
