Micron Technology, known for memory and storage, thinks about making chips for Apple at their future Gujarat site. In India, this could make Apple’s iPhones even more attractive. Already 12% of iPhones are put together there. Right now, Micron is working on a new place in Sanand, Gujarat. This place is for putting chips together, checking them, marking them, and wrapping them up. Apple and Micron haven’t made a final deal yet, but if they do, India could be a bigger part in making smartphones for the world.
