JPMorgan Chase & Co. CEO Jamie Dimon praises PM Modi for his efforts in India, stating that he has done an “unbelievable job” and taken 400 million people out of poverty.
India has 400 million people without toilets. Yet the US media is lecturing them on how to do things, according to Jamie Dimon. He criticized the US media for being too harsh on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dimon also highlighted the Modi government’s reform initiatives, stating that India has an “unbelievable infrastructure and educational system.” Dimon praises PM Modi for being “tough” and untangling the country’s bureaucratic system, adding that “a little bit more of that” is needed in the US.
He also highlighted India’s “unbelievable education system”, stating that the country is lifting its whole because of Modi’s efforts. The JPMorgan CEO’s praise for Modi comes at a time when India is looking to strengthen its ties with the US and attract more foreign investment.
Dimon’s comments reflect the growing recognition of Modi’s leadership in India. The PM has implemented several reforms and initiatives to improve the country’s infrastructure, education, and economy.
