How Will the Business’s Ownership Be Divided?
There are five listed companies: Godrej Consumer Products, Godrej Properties, Godrej Industries, Godrej Agrovet, and Astec Life Sciences. All the ownership rights reserved to these companies will remain with Adi Godrej and his brother, Nadir Godrej.
At the same time, the unlisted business, Godrej & Boyce, will be owned by Adi Godrej’s cousins, Jamshyd and Smita. They will each receive a sizable piece of land, valuable property in Mumbai, and businesses connected to Godrej & Boyce.

The Godrej family has defined splitting up as a reorganization of the ownership rights of shareholders in Godrej firms. The announcement stated that both parties will keep using the Godrej brand. Despite their differences, both sides are dedicated to strengthening and advancing their shared history.
