Online shopping is very common now. When we want to buy something, we don’t need to leave our house. We can just use our phones to make an order. If we don’t like what we receive, we can often cancel the order easily. But this might soon change for people who shop on Flipkart.

Flipkart Charge for Oder Cancellation Soon

Flipkart, a big online store in India, might start asking for money if people cancel some orders. Right now, they don’t charge anything if you cancel, but that could change soon. If you want to cancel an order later, you might have to pay a fee, and the amount will depend on how much the item costs.

Flipkart says this new rule is to help sellers and delivery people who lose time and money when orders are canceled. There will be a time when you can cancel for free, but after that, you’ll have to pay.

Myntra, another online store, stated that they aren’t charging any fees, and the messages on Twitter about it are fake. Flipkart didn’t say anything about this yet.

Why?

Although Flipkart hasn’t made an official statement about this policy, people say the new rules are being put in place to stop cheating and lower the losses for sellers on their websites. These changes could also affect Myntra, another online store owned by the same company as Flipkart.

If you like shopping online, it’s good to know about these new rules that might change how you cancel orders later on.
