Taxila Business School began the academic year for its PGDM Class of 2025–27 with a well-organized orientation programme designed to welcome new students and introduce them to campus life. The day commenced with registration and document verification, students submitted required documents, and were introduced to the ERP system, which will be central to managing their academic schedules and records.

A traditional Welcome Havan was followed. This ceremony, rooted in cultural values, brought a moment of reflection and marked the beginning of the academic journey with a calm and focused atmosphere.

The schedule then transitioned to an informal High Tea and Networking session. This provided a relaxed environment for students, parents, and faculty members to interact and build early connections. Conversations continued over lunch at the cafeteria, where the emphasis remained on open dialogue and building rapport within the Taxila community.

At noon, the spotlight shifted to the auditorium where Dr. Alka Jain, Director of Taxila Business School, addressed the audience. In her speech, Dr. Jain welcomed the students and their families. While underlining the institution’s commitment to academic learning, innovation, and student development.

Later in the afternoon, students gathered again in the auditorium for a session titled “Navigating Your Professional Journey – The Next Two Years + The Life Ahead,” led by Deputy Director Prof. Lavina Khilnani. The session offered practical insights into the academic structure, goal setting, and long-term planning for personal and professional development.

The day concluded with a tea break at the Coffee House. Allowing students and parents to wind down and reflect on the day’s proceedings.
